How we do the job.
Are you curious about the custom design process and what to expect when you work with JB Closets to get the best closet design in Treasure Coast? We share plenty of details here, but feel free to call us with any questions you might have about the custom closet design process and how we can help.
Free Consultation
One of our designers will discuss your goals & ideas!
Design Stage
Our team of designers will take your ides & create 3d renderings.
Installation
Our team will properly install your new closet design in your home.
Satisfaction
We complete a walk-through to ensure you are satisfied with your new closet.
First Steps
Once an appointment has been booked, we will send you an email letting you know what to expect from your appointment as well as what types of questions we will be asking and what types of items we will be taking inventory of.
From there, a member of our team will arrive at your home at the designated time to meet with you. During the consultation, they will get to know you, your home, and what your struggles are with your existing closet system, and what would make it better.
We will also take precise measurements and get to know the closets and the current conditions of your closet and how we can improve it.
Next Steps
Now itโs time for our designers to get to work! Based on everything they learn during the consultation with you, they will begin designing the perfect closet system to meet your needs.
We use a 3D rendering software to show you exactly what your closet will look like and use notes to illustrate WHY we have designed your closet this way. This design will be shared with you to get your approval and input, and you will also receive important details including the estimated time and cost for the project.
Final Steps
Next, our team will begin installing your dream closet! We work as quickly and with as little mess as possible to minimize any disruption to your life.
This includes:
- Using blankets and drop cloths to protect your home
- Putting runners down from the doorway into the room where the closet is to protect your floor
- Wearing booties for installations in carpeted rooms
- Making sure that any shelves leaning against the wall have a cardboard piece between the piece and the wall to protect your paint
- Storing all tools on a pad or drop cloth
- Having a designated trash bag and trash area
Finally, the best part: You get to walk through your new custom closet and learn everything you need to know about it to make the best possible use of your new space. During a walk-through, weโll answer any questions you might have and show you how everything works.
